After a fun engagement session in downtown LA we were excited to shoot tom + yuan’s wedding.  The affair proved to be the ultimate ‘do-it-yourself’ chic but rustic backyard wedding.  Family and friends came together (many from Denmark!) on New Year’s Eve for this double celebration as the couple exchanged vows during a customized intimate ceremony, conducted by tom’s mother.  After the ceremony the couple walked to their reception under an archway of sparklers as everyone cheered the newlyweds on.  Make sure you check out the cake being cut with a sword!  Congratulations to this wonderful couple!

ameeta + ejaaz’s weddimg was a day filled with family and friends as they celebrated their union with two ceremonies honoring each of their faiths.  The morning began with a Sikh ceremony at Vermont Gudwara followed by an Ismaili blessing at the Terranea Resort.  The reception was a blast and the couple and the wedding party surprised guests with a flash mob style dance which ended up with everyone on the dance floor!

The wedding had several references to travel as the couple, who both work in that industry, met through their jobs.  Capri Flowers did an outstanding job telling that story through details such as boarding pass name cards and unique ‘world’ favors.

It was such a joy to be apart of this day as the couple were head over heels in love and surrounded by wonderful people.  Congratulations ameeta + ejaaz!

ameeta + ejaaz started their 3-day wedding festivities off with a mehndi where they welcomed family and friends from all over the globe.  The next day was a vatna ceremony at ameeta’s house which started with the bride being showered with love and affection and ended with the groom being showered with just as much love and affection but also chocolate sauce, ketchup, eggs and feathers!

After shooting their engagement we knew payal + sameer’s wedding would be a lot of fun.  They just exude happiness when they are with each other and around their family and friends.  The wedding was absolutely beautiful, particularly the mandap which was made up of beautiful flowers.  Payal looked stunning in her wedding outfit and as always Dolled Up By Lulu and Blue Lotus Insights did an amazing job!

ben + jessica picked an amazing venue in the Majestic Halls in Downtown LA.  The former bank was a beautiful backdrop for the couple’s elegant wedding as they said ‘I Do’ in front of family and friends.  jessica looked absolutely stunning in both her wedding dress and her ‘going away’ dress.  The sparkle from the latter was further brought to life as the couple exited under a fantastic shower of glitter!  Congratulations to this sweet creative couple!
